Elements Eatery is a destination café located in Rosebud within the Yawa Aquatic Centre. They proudly showcase local Mornington Peninsula produce and create a place for locals and visitors alike to connect.
“Elements has always had a strong focus on healthy eating and community.” said Tracey Fleming, owner of Elements Eatery. “To have our nutritious and delicious food recognised by this award is incredibly fulfilling”.
“We opened two weeks before a lockdown. To say that the last two years has been challenging (as it has for everyone in hospitality) is a huge understatement. This award is a wonderful recognition of the hard work and dedication of our entire team along with our startup project partners Belgravia Leisure and the Mornington Peninsula Shire”.
Tracey Fleming and the Elements Eatery team worked with Peninsula Health, Mornington Peninsula Shire and Belgravia Leisure to develop a dining experience that follows the ‘healthy choices’ guidelines as set out by the Healthy Eating Advisory Service (HEAS).
“Two years on from opening, we remain committed to serving an 80% green-focused ‘healthy choices’ menu” says Tracey. “Our team is dedicated to great customer service combined with locally sourced, fresh and healthy food”.
It’s incredible satisfying to see that work acknowledged thanks to Aquatics and Recreation Victoria and Nutrition Australia.
Elements Eatery provides high quality food and service in a unique setting delivered through a lens of inclusion, sustainability and community at Yawa Aquatic and Recreation Centre in Rosebud on the Mornington Peninsula. They are also a member of Plastic Free Mornington Peninsula.
