Rosebud cafe Elements Eatery recognised for partnering with Belgravia on sustainability

Elements Eatery, a Rosebud cafe located at Yawa Aquatic Centre, has been recognised by Belgravia Leisure for reducing over four tonnes of waste while championing local produce, nutritious food and community connection.
It’s all part of their ongoing collaboration with Belgravia Leisure and the Yawa team.
Elements Eatery has been featured by Belgravia Leisure for the positive impact of our sustainability, healthy eating and community initiatives at Yawa Aquatic Centre.
As a Rosebud cafe with a strong focus on local community, produce and health eating, Elements Eatery has helped reduce annual landfill waste by more than four tonnes through practical, everyday changes. These include composting kitchen waste through local community partner Gadara Farm, making used coffee grounds available to customers, recycling and reusing milk bottles, reducing single-use packaging and encouraging refillable coffee cups.
The article also highlights our commitment to delicious and nutritious food, with an 80 per cent “green” menu focused on fresh, seasonal and locally sourced ingredients. Vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free and dairy-free options are part of the café’s approach to making healthy food accessible and enjoyable for the wider Mornington Peninsula community.
Beyond food and sustainability, Elements Eatery continues to grow as a welcoming local meeting place. Through its regular Community Connect sessions, the café brings people together for conversations around health, wellbeing, sustainability and local community initiatives.
